GolfMerica (golfmerica.com and the GolfMerica connector for AI assistants) is operated by CASPO LLC. This page says what we collect, why, and where it goes. We do not sell personal data.
The GolfMerica connector
The connector collects no personal data. It has no accounts and asks for no name, email or location. Your assistant sends us only fixed choices, such as a recipient type, a budget band, or six answer letters. Your own words are not sent to us.
- Call log. Each tool call writes one line: the time, which endpoint was used (Muse, Claude, ChatGPT or other), which tool, the choices it mapped to, how many results it returned, and for a scored profile, which profile. We use it to count usage. It contains no raw input.
- Daily totals. When you use GolfMerica through an AI assistant, we keep anonymous daily totals of which tools were used and which options were chosen, such as how many first-tee resets were requested. These totals contain no personal data and can't be linked to any person.
- Profile answers are scored and discarded. They are not stored.
- Rate limiting. To stop abuse, the server counts requests per IP address in memory for up to one minute. That count is not written anywhere.
- Our host. The connector runs on Netlify. Netlify keeps function logs, including the call log above, for at least 24 hours, and processes connection data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the service, under Netlify’s privacy policy.
Links the connector returns carry labels (for example
utm_source=muse) so we can tell which assistant a visit came
from. Nothing in those labels identifies you.
The website
Analytics
golfmerica.com uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and interactions, such as starting the assessment or playing a reset. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address and device information. See how Google uses this data.
The assessment
When you finish the assessment on golfmerica.com, your six answers, the resulting profile, a random completion ID and a timestamp are saved through Netlify Forms. This record contains no name or email.
If you choose to give your email, it is saved through Netlify Forms with your profile type and that completion ID. We use it only to send you GolfMerica resets and related updates. To be removed, email info@golfmerica.com.
Gift pages and retailers
Our gift pages link to retailers through affiliate programs, and GolfMerica may earn a commission on purchases. When you click through, the retailer and the affiliate network may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Children
GolfMerica is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
